This is the Sun Devil’s Advocates’ first attempt at a Vlog. I want to take this time to be transparent about the process.
This post was recorded in one take on my iPhone and edited together using Davinci Resolve. I have never done this before, and the finished content shows.
As you can see from my eyes looking up through the entire vlog,I was reading the script from my PC behind my iPhone.
The audio is not up to the quality I would prefer; the audio source is from the iPhone mic, as my RODE Wireless Go II mics would not cooperate with my iPhone.
I am proud of our new vlog intro and outro effects. These were created using Canva, along with Creative Commons license copyright-free audio from Pixabay.
Overall, the project did not go as planned, but I am proud of our first vlog post, and I look forward to informing and entertaining our readers with future posts.
